SpacialDB is a Berlin-based startup that was founded based on extensive research and experience to solve the most pressing technical challenges in the area of Cloud-Computing and Location-based services. SpacialDB is an enabling technology that lets developers and businesses create location-aware applications by hosting their Geospatial data and providing custom web services. Our potential customers are mobile and web developers looking to access the emerging market for location-aware applications. Examples of such applications include location-based mobile games and geo-targeted marketing. The target market for SpacialDB broadly includes a range of location-based services and applications such as:

• Location-based mobile games,

• Location-based product search,

• Geo-targeted advertising,

• Location-based social networking

SpacialDB’s enterprise offering is focused on medium to large organisations working in domains such as Environmental Data Management, Real Estate and Telematics. SpacialDB provides such customers a secure, reliable and cost effective way to get the most out of their internal Geospatial data. It does this by enhancing the performance, availability and scalability of their data, thus letting them attract new customers while increasing loyalty of existing customers.

SpacialDB, a Berlin-based startup is currently looking for a bright business school graduate to join its team as it works towards it’s funding round. The ideal person may have had a few years of experience working in the business development field and would be passionate about startup businesses and interested in or willing to learn about:

• Customer discovery & development

• Research & Writing grant proposals

• Marketing

• Public relations

• B2B and Enterprise sales

• Location-based & Cloud Computing Business model generation

The potential candidate will be working in an exciting and rapidly growing market segment of Location-based services and will be expected to understand the product offering from a typical customers perspective.

• Completed exam in economic studies

• Working knowledge of German and English

• Tertiary qualifications in the area of business and economics

• Less than 5 years since last tertiary qualification
